The VIP League
The Pistol Club has honored its founder and recently deceased leader Ron Foulk by dedicating a memorial plaque and renaming the Pistol Range the Ron Foulk Pistol Range in his memory.
Ron died in 2021. a victim of the Covid Pandemic. He started and led the Pistol Club for the past several years. He was always one of the top shooters in the Very Informal Pistol League and dedicated much effort to introduce new shooters to the joys of learning the safe accurate and fun skills needed to fully enjoy handgun use.

The Very Informal Pistol League, a modified NRA Bullseye format league, has several clubs in northwest Pennsylvania as it members. It offers a way for shooters to get together and enjoy using handguns in a safe and responsible manner. It offers both Rimfire and Centerfire classes with an entry fee of $1.00 per class.
The season's final shoot has all the clubs getting together to meet and greet one another at the John Holt Open. The date and location for this shoot is TBA.
The VIP League joins Saegertown with several other clubs in the region in this Postal Match league. Last years competitors included Albion, Black Ash, Springs R&G and Walnut Creek.
The course of fire is three sub-events of 5 rounds each at fifteen yards. The first has a two minute time limit, the second is 20 seconds and the has a 12 second time limit. The same course is used in both Rimfire and Centerfire classes. Shooters must provide their own handgun(s) and ammunition.
